This limited edition dive watch offers the best of what each brand has in terms of design and functionality, underpinned by authentic Swiss watchmaking traditions, bold design, and confident reliability. The Panerai Submersible S BRABUS Blue Shadow Edition is a movement for the adventurous and the enthusiast. It is a clear evolution of its predecessor but has a clear and unique identity.
The Panerai Submersible S BRABUS Blue Shadow Edition is available in an impressive range of grey and blue shades. It matches the BRABUS Shadow 900 Deep Blue luxury day boat, which will also celebrate its debut at the Palma International Boat Show in 2022. The watch will be strictly limited to 200 pieces worldwide.
The case measures 47mm and is composed of titanium, molded using the Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) process, a 3D printing technology method that produces a strong and lightweight volume. The case construction features Panerai’s signature cushion shape and crown protector, providing both performance and a striking matte finish with a confident presence. The unidirectional rotating bezel and lever both enhance the distinguishing features of the Panerai Submariner S BRABUS Blue Shadow Edition. They are made of Carbotech, a material based on carbon fiber with different patterns that give each watch a unique character and boast durability, lightness, and high corrosion resistance.
The groundbreaking technology is present both inside and outside. The Panerai Submersible S BRABUS Blue Shadow Edition includes the new P.4001/S movement, a skeletonized movement based on the P.4000 caliber. It features an integrated eccentric oscillating weight that allows bi-directional winding, i.e., the two spring-loaded barrels can be effectively wound while the copy watch is being worn. The oscillating rotor – made of tungsten – a shiny, high-density metal – makes the movement – and the replica watch itself – thinner and lighter. At the same time, the stop wheel and the second-hand reset mechanism synchronize the time with the reference time signal.
The P.4001/S movement results from three years of development and includes a GMT function, an AM/PM indicator, and a three-day power reserve. In addition, the patented polarized date display allows the date indicated to be seen only through an opening at 3 o’clock, without exposing the rest of the date wheel or hiding the workings of the movement.
The Panerai Submersible S BRABUS Blue Shadow is water-resistant to 30 bar and comes on two straps. The first one is a dual material option combining black rubber and leather, and the second one is dark blue rubber.
